Commercial Maintenance Technician – Mequon, WI – Position Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION

This individual will be instrumental in helping our managers, our tenants and the balance of our firm thrive. The ideal person will be technically adept, reliable in front of clients, detail oriented and willing to roll up their sleeves alongside the balance of the team to further grow first-class facility maintenance and contract sourcing companies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
· Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
· Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
· Repair and inspect emergency lighting, fire doors, emergency crash bars and perform basic fire inspections
· Perform installation/repairs on plumbing and drain fixtures
· Perform repairs on heating and air conditioning systems
· Install new equipment and systems as needed
· Provide basic building security surveys (lighting, door alarm schedules, stairwells, etc.) and address repairs & improvements necessary
· Follow OSHA, NFPA and local/state codes in relation to building operations at all properties
· Utilize power washing, lawncare and snow removal equipment for general & seasonal duties
· Install door hardware and hang doors
· Prime paint and finish walls of interior buildings
· Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs
· Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner
· Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE
· Maintenance: Minimum of 2 years (Preferred)
COMPENSATION
· $27.00 - $31.00 per hour commensurate with experience
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
· Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (Required)
TECHNOLOGY
· Ability to navigate apps on a mobile device to process work orders & log hours
